💪 Strengths
- The interface is genuinely simple and intuitive. From the moment you open the app, you're presented with a feed of activity suggestions that you can swipe through. There's no clutter, no confusing menus. This design makes it perfect for quick browsing, especially when you're standing on a street corner wondering what to do next.
- It's completely free to use. Core features like browsing recommendations, saving favorites, and creating basic itineraries are available without any payment. This is a major advantage over competitors that gate basic features behind subscription tiers. You can test the app's value without any financial commitment.
- The recommendation engine is tailored to your preferences. You can indicate whether you prefer urban or nature activities, adventurous or relaxed experiences, and the app adjusts its suggestions accordingly. The curated approach means you're getting quality picks, not just algorithmically generated lists from review sites.
- Coverage spans both urban and nature experiences. Whether you're into street art, local food markets, hiking trails, or scenic viewpoints, the app offers a diverse range of suggestions. This diversity makes it versatile for different types of trips and interests.
⚠ Watch out for
- No collaboration features. You can't share your itinerary with friends or family, nor can you co-plan a trip. This is a significant limitation for group travel, where coordination is key. It's strictly a solo planning tool.
- No offline functionality. All suggestions require an active data connection. If you're in a remote area or traveling internationally without a data plan, the app becomes useless. Competitors like Google Maps offer offline maps, and some travel apps allow downloading itineraries for offline access.
- Lack of integration with booking and mapping platforms. You can find activities, but you can't book them directly, nor can you get directions to them. This forces you to switch to other apps to complete your plans, adding friction to the planning process.
- No detailed itinerary planning features. While you can save favorites, there's no option to create day-by-day itineraries with times and durations. This limits its usefulness for multi-day trips where you want a structured plan.
🎯 Best for
Solo travelers or adventure seekers who want spontaneous, curated local ideas without the need for detailed planning or group coordination.
🚫 Who should skip
Travelers who need comprehensive itinerary planning, booking integrations, or collaboration tools for group trips.
📚 Learning curve
Minimal — the app is straightforward with a simple interface; anyone can start discovering adventures immediately.
🧑⚖️ Verdict
Nowy Nowy is a solid choice for spontaneous solo travelers on a budget who want quick, personalized activity ideas. However, if you need collaboration, offline access, or booking integration, you'll be disappointed. Bottom line: it's a useful free tool for inspiration, but not a complete travel plan

📋 Assessment
💪 Strengths
- Planitly is refreshingly simple to use. The web-based interface requires no download or account creation, so you can start planning immediately. In our walkthrough, we entered our destination and travel dates, and the AI generated a day-by-day plan in seconds. This is perfect for users who want a basic itinerary without a steep learning curve.
- The AI-powered generation is genuinely efficient for standard trips. It quickly suggests popular attractions, dining options, and activities, saving you hours of research. For a first-time visitor to a new city, this provides a solid skeleton that you can customize later, making it a useful starting point.
- The price is unbeatable: it's free. Unlike other AI travel planners that charge monthly fees (e.g., GuideGeek's paid tiers), Planitly offers its core functionality without any upfront cost. This makes it accessible to budget-conscious travelers and those who want to test AI planning without financial commitment.
- Because there are no accounts, there's less friction to start. Many competitors require email signup and sometimes a credit card for trials. Planitly's immediate access lowers the barrier to entry, which is a significant advantage for quick, one-off planning or user privacy.
⚠ Watch out for
- The biggest drawback is the absence of a mobile app. With no iOS or Android app, you cannot access your itinerary offline, receive push notifications, or use GPS-based suggestions. For travelers who rely on their phone during a trip, this is a major limitation, forcing you to be online and manually navigate the web interface on a small screen.
- There is no collaboration support. Planning a trip with family or friends? Planitly doesn't allow multiple users to view or edit the same itinerary. This makes it impractical for group travel, where sharing ideas and responsibilities is essential to a successful plan.
- It lacks integrations with major travel and mapping services. You cannot link your itinerary to Google Maps, optimize routes, or book flights and hotels directly from the platform. This means you'll have to manually copy addresses and check availability, which reduces convenience and increases planning time.
- The AI's suggestions are often generic. For popular tourist spots that's fine, but if you have niche interests or want off-the-beaten-path recommendations, the generated plans may be too basic. There's also no way to specify a travel style (e.g., adventure, luxury) beyond basic preferences, limiting the personalization depth.
🎯 Best for
Leisure travelers who want a quick, AI-generated itinerary for a single-person trip and don't need advanced features like booking or collaboration.
🚫 Who should skip

🧑⚖️ Verdict
Planitly is a practical, no-cost tool for travelers who need a quick, basic itinerary and don't require mobile access or collaboration.
